Kirkland Minoxidil Foam Ingredients

Male pattern baldness is very common amongst men, with two thirds of men experiencing some sort of hair loss by the age 35. American society expect balding men to be satisfied, even proud of their balding hair. Contrary to societal belief, most men are not happy about their hair loss, with some even slipping into depression.

Here is a video of me talking a bit about my experience with male pattern baldness, as well as an explanation behind dihydrotestosterone - the reason why male pattern baldness occur in the first place.

One of the products that I've tried is Kirkland Minoxidil Foam treatment. I recommend this hair loss
treatment because of how easy it is to use - as well as how effective it was in restoring the hair around my hairline. Kirkland Minoxidil foam ingredients include a proprietary blend of minoxidil and inactive ingredients to stabilize the product.

Kirkland Minoxidil Foam Ingredients

Active Ingredient: Minoxidil 5%

Minoxidil was first formed to help people who are suffering from high blood pressure, due to minoxidil's action of widening the arteries. However, many people found that they experienced a sharp spike in hair growth on their body and on their scalp. First deemed as a severe side effect, the medical community honed on minoxidil's ability to promote hair growth.

Kirkland Minoxidil Foam ingredients include minoxidil. Minoxidil widens the actual hair follicle and increases the anagen phase of hair growth. This allows hair to grow thicker for longer, effectively restoring hair. About 60% of men will see an improvement in vertex balding - or balding at the crown of the head.

Inactive Kirkland Minoxidil Foam Ingredients:

  • Butane: This is a solvent in the Kirkland Minocifil foam that creates the actual foaming action.
  • Butylated Hydroxytoluene: This is an active antioxidant that will keep free radicals in-check.
  • Cetyl Alcohol/Denatured Alcohol: Alcohol is synonymous to dry skin. Not so much with cetyl-alcohol. It has moisturizing properties. Those who suffer from eczema on their scalp might experience some irritation, however.
  • Citric Acid: This is a weak acid and a preservative.
  • Isobutane: This is a propellant that creates energy when dispersing the product from the can in foam-form.
  • Lactic acid: Lactic acid exfoliates the skin. This allows the product to penetrate deeper into the skin, making it more effective.

MicroNeedle Roller and Hair Loss: I use most of my topical hair loss treatments with a microneedle roller. Microneedler rollers are fixed with small needles that penetrate the skin. The theory is that these small channels allow the hair loss treatment to go deeper into the dermis, making it more effective. The massaging action also helps promote hair growth. I recommend using a microneedle roller for hair loss. A .05 microneedle roller is of suitable size, for it will pierce the epidermis but not go so deep to bruise the dermis. Use this 2-3 times a week when using your topical products. I use this method to harness Kirkland Minoxidil foam ingredients.
