It's natural man thing. Balding. All of a sudden, your youthful hairline starts to creep back. It can start early in your 20's or later in your 50's. But 80% men have some form of hair loss by the time they are 70. But that's okay. There's a little thing called "makeup". Sadly, lowering your hairline with makeup is not a solution for those who are completely bald or beyond Norwood 1 or Norwood 2.
How To Lower Your Hairline with Makeup
- Buy bronzer - or steal your girlfriend's makeup. There is a general rule when it comes to makeup - light colors bring attention, dark colors hide. You are going to need a bronzer in powder form. Stay away from cream or liquid bronzers. They are a bit tricky to work with. Essentially, you are going use the bronzer to lower your hairline.
- Wash your face. We need a clean canvas to work with!
- Brush your hair back and away from the face. You are using makeup to lower your hairline - you don't want makeup on your actual hairs.
- Pick up a small makeup brush, dip it into the bronzer, and top off the excess.
- Use upstrokes, making sure to brush towards the hair. The bronzer is buildable, so make sure that you don't get too trigger happy. This method is most successful with those with receding temples.
- Keep brushing on the bronzer until you see something akin to a shadow. Sweep some bronzer around the sides of your face, It slims down the face, as well as detract from your high hairline. Done!
WARNING: Don't over do it. Don't fool yourself into thinking that you can reinvent your hairline if it is more than 1 inch back.
